Spring came early, and our bodies need to transition quickly to tolerate the heat. Drinking the weeds helps thin the blood, clan out the liver, hydrate, and energize us for the work ahead! Whether you’re a homesteader, soccer mom, professional, or all 3, the summer months are typically full of activity and can exhaust us quickly if we aren’t replenishing. Let’s be proactive and get that green drink in daily!
Dr Christopher recommended all his patients - especially pregnant mamas - to make a comfrey green drink every day. Yes, I just said that. I am not recommending you take comfrey internally, I am just telling you what Dr C did… and happen to list it in what I put into my green drink today!
Replenish nutrients, gently cleanse, and hydrate today with this recipe:
4 cups water
1 big handful fresh greens (alfalfa, nettles, dandelion, etc)
2-4 lemons, juiced
Up to 1 cup raw honey or other sweetener (choose one rich in minerals and enzymes though!)
A sprinkle of Redmond sea salt
1/2-1 tsp cream of tartar
