ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Yes and no. Our tea and bath products do not use any animal products. There are a small number of soap collections that use local goats milk, but we are phasing these out. Our skin care and candles contain beeswax. Our burn salve contains raw, local honey.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED ON ANIMALS?

No. Never.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC?

No. For the herbs we either source from certified organic suppliers, sustainably harvest (aka wildcraft) from the wild, or grow our own with 0 chemicals. For the oils and butters we use all certified organic, fair-trade ingredients except for the current batch of Avocado oil, which is non-GMO and glyphosate-free certified. (Chosen brand, if you want to look it up). We hope to replace that with an organic source soon. The beeswax is 100% natural, pure, and unbleached from a USA company. If you have a question about a specific ingredient, please reach out.

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

No.

HOW CAN I PAY?

• We have a quick and easy checkout process at Herbal Embrace. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, as well as all other types of credit and debit cards.
• Additionally, you can use Paypal, Venmo (via Paypal), Shop Pay (a service of Shopify), Apple Pay, Facebook/Meta Pay, and Google Pay for an express checkout experience.

IS MY PRODUCT IN STOCK?

Yes! All products that are listed for immediate purchase on our site are in-stock and available. We do not allow purchase when out of stock, unless expressly indicated as a "Pre-Order."

WHAT WILL SHIPPING COST?

• Good News! Shipping is FREE on your USA order of $100 or more. 
• If you don't hit the $100 mark this time, you pay actual shipping cost.
• Shipping cost depends on your location, weight, and size of the package, which is calculated at checkout. You can choose the shipping method you desire.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

• Yep! You'll receive a tracking code for your package with your shipping confirmation email from Herbal Embrace.
• If you can't find your order confirmation or shipping confirmation email, please check your promotions and other folders in your email.
• If you still cannot find an email from Herbal Embrace, send Sarah an email and she'll be happy to get you the info you need. sarah@herbalembrace.com

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP & ARRIVE?

• Please allow 2-5 days processing time for your order. This is due to the location of our farm and occasional weather events preventing safe travel to the city to drop our mail off with the mail carriers. 
• Time in transit depends on the shipping carrier and shipping method. However, most packages in the USA arrive in 2 to 10 days.
• You'll have 24/7 access to detailed tracking information on your package with your tracking number found in your shipping confirmation email from Herbal Embrace.

CAN I CHANGE MY ADDRESS ON THE ORDER I JUST PLACED?

• Yes. As long as your order has not been accepted by the shipping carrier yet.
• If you need to change your shipping address after you placed an order, please send Sarah an email as soon as possible: sarah@herbalembrace.com
• Before completing your online order, you can easily change your shipping address during checkout.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

• If you need to cancel your order, please email Sarah as soon as possible: sarah@herbalembrace.com
• Orders cannot be canceled once shipped.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

• Our products are not returnable due to hygienic reasons

HOW CAN I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

Herbal Embrace is a business arm of Vezzani Agricultural Ventures, LLC, a family business created, owned, and operated by Mike and Sarah Vezzani.

We had been feeling a growing call to live a more natural life, more connected with the natural world. We wanted to raise our family together and be fully present, rooted in natural principles. Focus on what is real and essential.

This is a picture of our family at a family reunion. Our kids have super cute faces and smiles, but we choose to keep them off social media.

 

We have been building a 2-acre homestead from nothing but dirt and tumbleweeds, and whatever materials we bring here. As permaculture designers, we are constantly experimenting and watching for nature to teach us true principles as we grow soil, food, micro-climates, and habitat. More and more of the herbs in our products come from our own beyond-organic farm! 

We have named our farmstead A Place to Come To in reference to Wendell Berry’s writings on how the family farm has become a place to leave rather than a place to come to. We seek to reverse this in our family’s life, and make our life a symbol of the "Hope that is within us" (1 Peter 3:15). We believe that nature connects us to God, and that by working to heal the soil on our land we are doing God's work (with a whole lot of personal spiritual refining!).

 

Sarah REALLY loves growing all the things. And creating all the things.

In our adult lives, health issues popped up that we couldn't find answers for in the conventional system. We did our own research and made a lot of changes about what we put into our bodies, onto our bodies, and around our bodies. Sarah discovered she was sensitive to chemicals and fragrances - just walking through the grocery store would give her a migraine. This was a problem given she was working as a chemical engineer for a consumer products company that had fragrances in everything.

We left our corporate jobs, cleaned up our home, bath, and skin care products and started making our own. Back then, you just couldn't find ANY chemical-free products in the grocery store. In 2020 Sarah opened an Etsy Shop, and in January of 2023 we were BEYOND EXCITED to launch HerbalEmbrace.com!

Sarah has a special affinity for medicinal herbs and received her Masters in Herbology from Dr. Christopher's School of Natural Healing on June 17, 2023! She lights up finding new ways to incorporate botanicals into skincare, body care, nutrition, and even art, and can’t wait to share all of her ideas with you.

We are dedicated to promoting Regenerative Agriculture and Permaculture principles, empowering others to learn how to use medicinal plants to build a regenerative life, delivering products that WORK without compromising on ingredients, and seeking the most eco-friendly packaging that safely delivers the product to you.
